Written by: Dejan Lučka

Associate of BH journalists and media law expert Dejan Lučka prepared an analysis of certain provisions of the Law on Freedom of Access to Information at the level of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The analysis was done comparing the provisions of the ZoSPI, which was adopted in 2023, with the relevant legal and constitutional provisions in BiH and its entities, both positive and those that are no longer valid, as well as with international instruments and standards for the protection of human rights, that is, freedom expression and the right to access information, especially in the practice of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg

You can read the entire analysis HERE.

This analysis was done with the support of the US Government within the support program of the American Agency for International Development (USAID) for independent media in Bosnia and Herzegovina (MEA), which is carried out by Internews in partnership with FHI360 and local partners. The creation and publication of this analysis was also made possible thanks to the generous support of the American people through USAID. The content is the sole responsibility of the BH Journalists Association and does not necessarily reflect the views of USAID or the US Government.
