The analysis of journalists copyright contains a systematic review of recommendations, declarations, regulations and legal norms, but also points to any shortcomings and limitations of the currently set norms, which is the starting point for making recommendations for the improvement of this field. The subject of the analysis was the harmonization of domestic laws with the standards of the European Union, as well as the impact of the EU Copyright Directive on improving the position of authors of media content and in general on the state of media freedoms and freedom of expression.
