The report “Indicators on the level of media freedom and Journalists’ Safety Index 2024” provides a comprehensive overview of the legislative framework, as well as socio-economic and political issues, in relation to media freedom and journalists’ safety.

The research, conducted by Lajla Zaimović Kurtović, identifies the main challenges faced by journalists and offers recommendations for media organizations and their leadership on how to improve the working conditions of journalists.

The findings of the research can serve as a basis for developing policies and initiatives aimed at improving media freedom, while strengthening cooperation between media, institutions, and civil society organizations.
